The US military has announced the death of four soldiers in Iraq. They died Saturday in an explosion near their vehicle. Another soldier was wounded. US forces are also involved in a major offensive in the city of Diwaniyah against Shiite militia forces.
Many in the US are celebrating Easter with a heavy coat on. Cold temperatures have blanketed much of the eastern half of the US. There has been some snow of this weekend from Washington D.C. to Crawford, Texas where the president and First Lady are spending the holiday.
A 52-year-old Slovenian man has successfully swum the Amazon River. The feet, or 3272 miles of it, could be a new world record. It took nine weeks to swim nearly the distance from Miami to Seattle.
